Don't be bamboozled by numbers

1. Learn 'dead reckoning'
2. Practice adding, subtracting, multiplying and division.
3. Make sure you know how to add 10, 20, 25 percent to any number. Likewise how to quickly discount.
 
I never cease to amaze others when I can accurately tell them a rough numeric answer before they've found their smartphone's built-in calculator.</description>
